Many people will have been advised by a medical professional to wear compression stockings following a hip replacement or knee surgery. Actually putting on compression socks, TED stockings or medical tights can be a challenge and notoriously difficult by yourself. Especially if you are unable to bend down, have reduced upper body strength or restricted flexibility.
The Ezy-on stocking frame is part of our dressing aids range. It is a strong robust metal frame which helps keep the compression stocking open. Making it easier to get the stocking onto your foot, but also reduces the stress in your hands and wrists caused by pulling the stocking open.
What are the other features:
Suitable for both above and below the knee support stockings, class 1 and 2 compression tights, open toe medical TED stockings, everyday casual socks and sports socks.
Chunky foam handles that are easy to hold and non-slip feet to ensure your safety.
The Ezy-On Tall compression applicator can be used safely after your surgery, either lying down, sitting down or standing up.
This stocking/sock aid is available to buy in both tall (use on your own) and small (ideal as a carers aid) versions.
Size: 15/38cm tall.
Glenn Knight CEO Training 2 CARE Group comments,"The ability to do simple tasks to keep people independent after an operation or an injury is paramount to a speedy recovery without causing other complications. The Ezy-on Stocking frame is a simple way to protect the person and reduce pain or stretching. Used within hospital settings for many years, it is an important part of being able to protect the person by giving them the right tools to do the needed manoeuvres.''
